Personal Health Response, Inc. (PHR) is a privately-held, California-based corporation which was founded in 1994 to develop analytical products which can contribute to improvement in an individual's health and well-being. Much of the technology used is based on the work done by PHR's President, Vadim Kvitash, M.D., Ph.D. Most of the systems implementation and product delivery services were developed by co-founder Arnold Muecke. Both individuals have worked together over the last 18 years on various aspects of product development and delivery with KAMM-12 being the first commercially available product.
Our President: The physician who invented and patented Balascopy, Vadim I. Kvitash, MD, PhD, has been successfully practicing Asthma, Allergy, and Clinical Immunology for over 30 years and at the same time conducting many innovative and pioneering scientific research projects. To date, he has published 117 scientific papers in peer review journals. Dr. Kvitash is a Fellow of The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, a Fellow of The American In-Vitro Allergy/Immunology Society, member of European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, as well as a member of other numerous national and international professional medical and scientific societies. He is a recipient of many national and international honors, some of which include International Award for AIDS Research (1987), Distinguished Award for Outstanding Contributions Furthering Athletic Training Education (1991), and Albert Einstein Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievements (1997). Dr. Kvitash is currently a clinical faculty member at the University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco. He is also serves as a consultant in Allergy and Clinical Immunology for the Department of Pediatrics at California Pacific Medical Center, a physician in private practice in both San Francisco and Marin Counties, and a former Co-Director of Allergy Clinic at the Mt. Zion Hospital and Medical Center, San Francisco. Dr. Kvitash invented, tested, extensively verified, and then patented the new generation of Information Technology with unique Perceptual & Cognitive capabilities, "Balascopy: A Method for Detecting and Rapidly Evaluating Multiple Imbalances within Multi-Parametric Systems" (U.S. Patent No. 4,527,240). This technology pushes the limit of human perception, cognition and communication. It also accelerates human heuristic abilities and creativity.
Our Vice President of Systems and Operations: Arnold Muecke, Vice President of Personal Health Response, Inc., has worked in the computer science field for more than 25 years. He holds a BS in Mathematics and a MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston. Arnold has extensive applications, systems and networking experience and has worked in Fortune 500 companies in the fields of aerospace, health care, publishing, banking, interactive services and telecommunications. His contributions to health care applications include the development of drug interaction detection software, quality control software for the first national-wide study on hypertension detection and follow-up, and numerous systems for automating assessment, coding and reporting. For the past 12 years, Arnold has also been a senior consultant with AHM Consultants, Inc., a San Francisco based consulting company which specializes in systems and software development primarily for the telecommunications industry. As a principal in Personal Health Response, Mr. Muecke has served as senior technical consultant and has been involved in the automation of the KAMM-12 product and delivery infrastructure. He is currently working with Dr. Kvitash in product enhancements to the KAMM-12 as well as new product development.
